As promised

Well I drew up how the front lights should look when finished. The finished product may look very different to this but, I have not quite worked out how i’m going to attach it to the bike.

Just to put the drawing in perspective, this is the front derailleur of Greenspeed’s TerraTrike. The light will be attached to the bar angled back towards the rider.

Cut away of the front LED lights with wide oval optics.

Its hard to see but it should work a little something like this. The box Aluminium tubing will be cut at an angle. Into this the LED and optics will be inserted. The LED and optics will be attached to an L shaped section of flat Aluminium. An the two lights will then be joined with an external section of flat Aluminium on either side. This will then allow for it to be attached to the bike, but im not sure how that will work yet.

The cables coming out of each Light will join together in series so that only two core runs back to the batter/drive box.

These lights should be high enough and wide enough (oval 30+ degree optics) that they flood the area for about 5m in front of the bike.
