Its here!

The LED’s and drivers finally arrived yesterday. Like a kid a xmas I got to work modifying the drivers so that they are able to be dimmed and testing out the LED’s.

The four XR-E LED's and two drivers.

The black block they are mounted on is a heat sink used just for testing. The rotary knob on the bottom right is a 10K pot used for brightness adjustment. Unfortunately due to their brightness  I cant show the LED’s directly turned on as it max’s out my cameras CCD.

However I can assure they are very, very bright. So s all smiles here.

Simultaneous current readings of the two drivers. The difference in current is small enough not to be noticeable.

I will start work on the housing for the LED’s soon.
